Afrodesia Handmade Natural Soap.
Afrodesia is a soap I created with a specific feeling in mind — something soft, floral, and quietly luxurious.
I use the same nourishing base as all my soaps:
- a mix of coconut oil,
- cocoa butter,
- shea butter, and
- castor oil.
It’s a formula I trust because it cleans gently without drying out the skin.
After a wash, your skin feels clean, but still hydrated — no tightness or irritation.
For Afrodesia, I added a floral blend that leans into the romantic and earthy — neroli and jasmine, mainly — paired with pink kaolin clay and just a touch of natural exfoliant to gently lift away dull skin. It’s not a scrubby soap, but it does leave your skin looking a little brighter, a little smoother.
The ingredients were chosen for more than just their scent:
- Neroli supports skin regeneration and helps balance oil production, which is helpful if your skin tends to break out now and then.
- Jasmine adds a bit of glow and works to balance moisture, which makes it especially nice if your skin leans dry or uneven.
I wanted Afrodesia to be a soap that feels like a small moment of care — a quiet kind of indulgence that fits easily into a daily routine. Nothing fussy, just something that works well and feels good to use.
