Ilala Palm Grocery Bag Basket

This a handwoven grocery bag basket made from Ilala palm grass which is harvested from the wetlands of KZN. After harvest, the grass is sun-dried and then soaked in water to get the flexibility of weaving after weaving it is sun-dried again to get a firm and strong structure.

The grocery basket bag size is approximately 66cm in height, 55cm in length 32cm in width

Due to placemats being handmade with natural materials, the size may differ by 2-3 centimetres in height and 1-2cm in width. The colour of products may vary.
