Description
This is a handwoven medium plain planter basket made from Ilala palm grass which is harvested from the wetlands of KZN. After harvest, the grass is sun-dried and then soaked in water to get the flexibility of weaving after weaving it is sun-dried again to get a firm and strong structure.
The medium plain planter basket size is approximately 36cm in height, 36cm in diameter
Due to placemats being handmade with natural materials, the size may differ by 2-3 centimetres in height and 1-2cm in width. The colour of products may vary.
