Description
This a handwoven storage basket made from Ilala palm grass which is harvested from the wetlands of KZN. After harvest, the grass is sun-dried and then soaked in water to get the flexibility of weaving after weaving it is sun-dried again to get a firm and strong structure.
The storage basket size is approximately 47cm in height, 48cm diameter
Due to placemats being handmade with natural materials, the size may differ by 2-3 centimetres in height and 1-2cm in width. The colour of products may vary.
