Lapis Lazuli Heart & Garnet Sterling Silver Necklace

Lovely lapis lazuli heart and faceted garnet sterling silver necklace.  The lapis heart is 2cm in length and width, and the hammered silver ring is 16mm.  The length of the necklace is 43cm and can be lengthened with an extension change if needed.  This is a one-of-a-kind necklace.

What is lapis lazuli?¬† Lapis Lazuli is one of the oldest and best-known of all gemstones, dating back to Ancient Egypt where it was used in jewellery and religious ceremonies. Spiritually, lapis is for speaking truth and promotes peace, harmony, serenity and happiness. It expands intellectual capacity, awareness and clarity. It’s a stone of protection and prevents negativity. This amazing stone is also used for dream work. On a personal note, it’s one of my favourite stones and you’ll find I use it often in my jewellery.

Garnet is the birthstone for January.  It symbolizes friendship and trust, good health, wealth and happiness.  It is usually red but also occurs in a wide variety of colours.
