Chakra necklace created with 6mm bicone Swarovski crystal elements, sterling silver balls and beige silk. The crystals are knotted on to the silk separated by the little silver beads. All of the other metal components are sterling silver as well. The length is 41cm.
I’ve chosen to use Swarovski crystals because of their awesome colours and gorgeous sparkle!
What are Chakras?
The word Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel … a colourful, spinning energy wheel that balances our bodies to good health … first mentioned in ancient Hindu sacred texts. Chakras are the energy centres of our bodies, each resonating to a different colour and vibration. There are 7 main chakras that are situated on the spine from the base to the crown of the head. The colours associated with these from the base running upwards are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
