These Surfboard Earrings are made from scratch, pouring and setting resin using silicone molds. Colours are achieved by adding quality resin pigments and lots of glitter where appropriate ( or not so appropriate – I love glitter !!) I buy original designs from artists across the world and do not use designs without the appropriate permissions. I believe that everyone should be rewarded for their input and creativity and I respect other’s art and do not copy work. I make my silicone molds from these designs and the molds are not available in other stores which makes my items unique.
Each item is individually molded and finished.
The resin surfboard is hanging from nickel-free gold-plated brass earrings with a small faceted glass diamond-looking detail. This piece was further enhanced and rounded off by doming the resin for a polished look so the colour will not fade or scratch off.
I work from my home studio in Hillcrest, KZN and love working with resin, glitter and lots of colour !!
