Shweshwe: is a printed, dyed cotton fabric widely used for
traditional Southern African clothing. The genuine product can be recognised by feel, smell, taste, sound, and a trademark logo on the reverse side of the fabric. The trademarked fabric has been manufactured by Da Gama Textiles in the Zwelitsha township outside King Williamstown in the Eastern Cape since 1982
For every item sold, a portion of proceeds will go towards our Bush Whisper Foundations
In 2020, our Foundation was officially registered as a PBO Public Benefit Organisation (PBO Reference No. 930071212)
•The sole objective of the Foundation is to have regard for the needs, interests, and well-being of the general public and, in particular:
Engaging in the conservation, rehabilitation, or protection of the natural environment, including flora, fauna, or the biosphere.
The care of animals, including the rehabilitation or prevention of the ill-treatment of animals.
The promotion of education and training programs relating to, environmental awareness, greening, clean-up, or sustainable development projects.
