Ming Blue and White Ceramic Temple Jar
Stunning Bespoke statement item with a handpainted rural village setting. Vintage Kweens present beautiful Ming Temple Jar for that refined look. This stunner shows beautifully on its own or can be used as a vase with colourful flowers to show off even more magnificently.
Made with local clay from the Jindezhen (Chigtechen) and other Pottery Towns in China. Made by hand, painted and then fired up to a very high temperature, 1100 degrees Celsius and then once again once the remainder of the design is added in contrast of overglaze enamel at a lower temperature of 850 – 900 degrees Celsius.
Ming is Art, the detail and beauty adds to any décor, be it classic, contemporary, boho, simplistic etc.
It is said that each Ming item which is presented to the world, passes through approximately 70 hands before it is released, such is the craft of these artisans.
Ming is famed and revered for the craftmanship.
