Mix Media Art Piece – Bendulo The Street Recycler
Bendulo the Street Recycler is an artwork that tells a remarkable story of a street recycler in the streets of Germiston who collects and recycles everyone’s garbage. He has been working in the same street for many years and some of the residents who live in the street also look out for him. He has saved many houses from attempted burglaries and warned them upfront. He has a tender heart and always smiles regardless of his circumstances.
The artist Tanja van Biljon is donating a percentage of this artwork’s income to Bendulo.
The artwork is created in an expressionist style using mixed media, pastels, and watercolour as well as acrylics. The artwork is framed in style and covered in a protective glass cover.
