Moonlight on Water Painting

This is an acrylic pour painting on a stretched canvas.  The painting is silver and white on a black base, which I poured using the layered cup straight pour method.  The paint’s layers create intricate details that are not visible in the photograph.  The picture is not framed as the paint continues down the sides of the canvas, which gives a stunning effect.  I have also left the painting with its natural finish.  I think that a gloss finish would take away some of the simple elegance the piece has.

The canvas size 30cm x 45 cm with deep edge of 5 cm.

This has been voted as my best piece yet by a friend!
