Our honey is harvested in the McGregor and Robertson mountains, where our hives live for most of the year. About two times a year our bees pollinate local fruit trees and store some of that nice nectar in their hives for us to enjoy. Each season have different flowers, so the colour and taste might change throughout the year. Although not completely organic (bees can’t be fenced in and may visit the neighbours!), we strive to farm and manage them in an ethical and sustainable way.
Each jar is carefully harvested and bottled by us in small batches, we do not heat our honey and only put it through a sieve. You might find tiny pieces of healthy pollen in your honey. Unpasteurised, non irradiated and completely raw. We do not add anything.
Flavour: special Robertson multi flora, not as strong as fynbos. Taste varies from very floral to fruity. Mostly medium dark.
