Care of pearls
The pearls that I use are freshwater or saltwater and should be carefully treasured. After wear, wipe them gently with a soft chamois or cloth which can be dry or slightly damp. Never use harsh or abrasive fabrics and never submerse them in a bowl of water. Also never use jewellery dips on pearls – it will strip all the natural lustre and nacre from their surface!!
