My name is Nadia Rabellini, I am the creator and founder of Derma Groen Planet Positive Beauty. I have a BSc background and have been teaching and tutoring science on a part-time basis to high school students for more than 10 years. My passion for science, nature and health is what I believe let me to create a skincare range that is eco-friendly, natural and organic.
My motivation
After my father passed of cancer I was keen to live a healthier lifestyle and so I transitioned to a plant based diet and started my own urban microgreen farm. I choose to farm microgreens as they have plentiful health benefits. They are extremely rich in vitamins and can have up to 40 times the nutritional value of their adult counterpart. The more I learnt about these tiny greens the more I wanted to incorporate their vitamin richness into my hair and skincare. I was amazed at the results. I started doing more and more research and soon enrolled myself into an organic skincare diploma.
Why solid cosmetics?
I wanted not to only create amazing skin-and-haircare but also to make whatever I make eco-friendly. I am not a fan of single use plastics and cringed at the thought of making it my business to distribute more plastic waste.
