Lapis Lazuli, Garnet and Sterling Silver Necklace

Lovely lapis lazuli, garnet and sterling silver necklace. The beads on the chain are subtly mismatched which gives the necklace a slightly edgy vibe.  All of the metal components are sterling silver. The length of the necklace is 44.5 cm.

Garnet is the birthstone for January.

What is the meaning of lapis lazuli? Lapis Lazuli is one of the oldest and best known of all gemstones, dating back to Ancient Egypt where it was used in jewellery and religious ceremonies. Spiritually, lapis is for speaking truth and promotes peace, harmony, serenity and happiness. It expands intellectual capacity, awareness and clarity. It’s a stone of protection and prevents negativity. This amazing stone is also used for dream work. On a personal note, it’s one of my favourite stones and you’ll find I use it often in my jewellery.
